Myrna June Miller

Myrna June Miller was born Myrna June Gooch on December 13, 1957 in Ft.Worth, TX to Myron Rogers and Barbara June Gooch (Kyser).

As a child, Myrna was fun loving, free spirited and a nurturer being the oldest of five siblings. After settling in Denver, Colorado in 1963, Myrna attended East Middle School and graduated from Hinkley High where she participated in concert choir and theater. She enjoyed playing sports but her favorite outing was going skating on Saturday nights. A lover of music-you could catch Myrna dancing all over the place and enjoying life. She formed a life-long relationship with Ronald Hudson and from this union she gave birth to her two children; Marco and Rhonda. Later in life Myrna joined in holy matrimony to Mr. Gerald Miller whom she loved and cherished until his death.

Known as ""Big Myrn"" to many and ""Mom"" to many more, her children expand beyond her own biological children. Myrna was noted for having a contagious smile, a quick wit, having jokes for days and a light that attracted people to her. Myrna was loved by everyone she encountered.

Working as a caregiver, she was the symbol of optimism, inspiration and motivation to those she cared for. Myrna found peace within by giving her life to God in 1968. It was then that Myrna joined Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, currently known as The House Worship Center. She taught that no matter what path you take, the path of understanding without judgement and with God will keep you grounded and blessed. Myrna lived life to the fullest and will truly be missed.

Preceding her in death is her husband, Mr. Gerald Miller.

She leaves to cherish her memory of life and legacy: her son, Marco Hudson and daughter, Rhonda Hudson both of Aurora, CO; siblings, Myron Gooch Jr. (Atlanta, GA), Dr. Mike (Petrina) Gooch (Whittier,CA), Mona Ghadiri (Corona, CA) and Marvin Gooch (Seattle, WA); aunt, Billie Richmond (Denver, CO), uncle, Charles (Juror) Kyser (Ft. Worth, TX); and grandchild, Elijah Clayton.
