Nancy Alford

Nancy Ann Alford, 68, of Denver passed away unexpectedly on October 1, 2020. Born on October 7, 1951 she was the daughter of Robert A. and Virginia M. (Svigel) Redding.

Nancy was a postal worker for USPS for more than 30 years.

Nancy enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with her dogs. She was happy to take fishing trips, travel to new places, and spend time in her garden growing food. Nancy was always up for a challenge.

She will be remembered for her willingness to help anyone, being one of the most reliable people you would ever meet and being honest to a fault. She will also be remembered for having great gardening tips and for some remarkable home cooked meals!

Nancy is survived by her children, Zach Alford and his wife, Katrina, Glen Alford and his wife, Shawna, Hillary Alford and her husband, Tim Lucero, 8 grandchildren and 13 siblings.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Virginia.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9, 2020 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Horan & McConaty, 7577 W. 80th Ave. Arvada, CO 80003.
