Nancy Hall Beattie passed away on 1-16-25 due to complications associated with pneumonia and a lung infection.
She was born on March 8, 1941 in Wabash Indiana but moved to Denver at an early age and has lived in Colorado most of her life.
In 1963 Nancy Malm married Jackson Beattie. They both graduated from CSU where they met and they have been together for over 63 years. She is survived by Jack.
They have two sons with families living in the Denver area. They are Dan their oldest son and his wife Terri. They have four children and two grandchildren. Their children are Kellie, Julia, Ryan, and Natalie. Their grandchildren with Kellie and Mike Hanson are Emma and Cameron.
The younger son John and his wife Jennifer Jean live in Golden. Their two sons are Joshua and Jackson
All of these family members are thriving and successful. They were Nancy’s pride and joy and the love of her life.
Nancy loved homemaking, gardening, yoga and exercise classes at our recreation center, and in addition enjoyed theater, symphony, opera and movies.
During her working years she taught special needs children in Fort Collins and Boulder.
She will be greatly missed by all who know and love her. She leaves a big hole in all our lives.
Charitable contributions in her memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
The family will not be holding any Services.
