Nancy Berg

Nancy Berg passed away Monday, June 17, 2013. She was born in Virginia, Minnesota and raised in Ironwood, Michigan. She has been a Colorado resident since 1955. She was preceded in death by her parents Leo and Myrtle King. Nancy married William Berg on August 29, 1953, and they have one daughter, Kimberly Ann Berg Massey. Kim resides in Charlotte, NC with her husband Jim, and with Nancy & Bill's two grandchildren, Kaitlyn Elizabeth and Robert William. Nancy is a graduate of the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN, with a diploma in Nursing. Nancy was registered as an RN in Colorado, California and Minnesota, and worked in hospital and clinical nursing as well as industrial nursing at Mountain Bell and Public Service of Colorado. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Cancer League of Colorado, P.O. Box 5373, Englewood, CO 80155. Nancy was a longtime member of this organization. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 AM Thursday, June 20, at the Church of the Risen Christ, 3060 S. Monaco Pkwy., with entombment in Fort Logan National Cemetery.
