Nancy Josephine Brooks

Nancy Josephine Brooks, 76, passed away February 7, 2015 in Brighton, Colorado. She was born March 28, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan to Leo A. and Rita Pfaendtner Young. She was a resident of Kemmerer, Wyoming at the time of her death. Nancy grew up in Michigan where she met and fell in love with her husband of 52 years, Harold Edward Brooks. He preceded her in death by seven years. She was also preceded in death by her son Richard Paul Brooks, half-sister Diane Bekkering. and both her parents. She is survived by seven children, Barbara (Arden) Youmans, Dorothy Brooks, Kimberly (Ernie) Culver, Tammy (Chris) Krell, Scot (Christine) Brooks, Paula (Steven) Annala and Jeffery (Renanne) Brooks; 27 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and 4 siblings. A private family memorial service will be held in Kemmerer, Wyoming on February 28, 2015. At Nancy's request, a public service will be held in Michigan at a time yet to be determined.
