Nancy was born in Kansas City, Missouri on March 25, 1947 to Howard and Martha (Coffin) Clark and passed into eternal life at the age of 75 years old on November 25, 2022. She was one of two children and Nancy was the oldest.
Nancy was a middle school mathematics teacher for 30 years with Jefferson County Schools, retiring in 1999. She worked at Lakewood Junior High School and Creighton Middle School. Upon retirement she cared for her mother after the passing of her father.
Nancy enjoyed 46 years with her loving partner, Patti Wiggam. Together they hosted the best green chili feast which was a fall tradition for many years. There were other gatherings too for various holidays. Family, friends, and extended family could all be found around their table filled with love and laughter and, of course, delicious food. Avid Broncos fans the girls spent hours with the beloved Broncos, in their good years as season ticket holders.
Nancy loved water sports as well as spending time in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. She enjoyed winter snowshoeing and hiking in the summers. The garden that she and Patti planted every spring produced some of the most amazing tomatoes and other vegetables. It was a gardener’s paradise. Each year some new veggies would find a new space in the abundant garden. Over the years she enjoyed the company of several dogs with her most recent being Shiloh, a dachshund. Shiloh was great company to Nancy as she struggled with her health. Shiloh led the path to heaven in September, 2022.
Nancy is survived by her partner Patti Wiggam. She is also survived by her brother Peter and his wife Lori and their children Leah and Kristopher, and another nephew Peter IV and his wife Crystal and their children Nevaeh and Gabriel. She was preceded in death by her parent, Howard and Martha Clark.
