Nancy Louise (Tepe) Sikora

Nancy Louise (Tepe) Sikora, 83, died of complications of Alzheimer’s on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at Peakview Assisted Living and Memory Care where she had been a resident for the last five years.  She was born June 5, 1940 in South Bend, Indiana, the daughter of Elmer and Ann Tepe. 

Nancy graduated from St. Joseph High School in South Bend and went to work as a ticket agent for Alleghany Airlines.  September 9, 1961 she married Thomas Sikora of Elkhart, Indiana.  They celebrated 61 years of marriage in 2022.  Following her marriage, Nancy was a military wife.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was predeceased by a sister Shirley, and a brother Elmer Jr. (Sonny).  Surviving in addition to her husband are son Douglas Sikora; daughters, Lynne Sikora, Amy (Sikora) Duke and her husband Randy, all of Colorado; brother, Roy Tepe of Indiana; many nieces and nephews.

A private funeral was held at Our Lady of Loreto in Foxfield, Colorado on July 26.  There will be a private graveside service on August 9 at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado to place Nancy’s urn.
