Nancy Stuke

Nancy S. Stuke, born November 8, 1954 in Salem, OR. Passed away October 8, 2011 at Collier Hospice Center, Wheatridge, CO Nancy lived in Lakewood CO with her husband, Glen for 27 years. After a 28 year career with United Airlines, she retired in 2010 and started a new career at AXA Financial Advisors up until her recent illness. Nancy took great pride and satisfaction in helping ""others"" whether it be an aspiring airline pilot, a new financial advisor, or an orphaned bunny. Her mentoring skills paired with her passion and concern for people, gave many folks the push they needed to succeed. Her love of life and amazing smile quickly endeared anyone she met. Nancy enjoyed boating and fishing at the cabin at Lake McConaughy, swimming, anywhere there was water, riding horses, gardening, and loved to cook. She loved animals as well. Her pet companions all came from shelters and benefited from her warmth. Abby and Izzie will miss her. Nancy is survived by her husband, Glen of Lakewood, her mother, Jackie Wetherbee of Pacific City, Or. and her sister and brother in law, Sally and Joe McMullen of Kasilof, AK. Nancy was preceded in death by her father, David D Wetherbee and her brother, David J Wetherbee. Memorial services will be held on October 29th, 2PM at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Blvd, Lakewood, CO. Per Nancy's wishes, flowers are not requested.
