Natalie Hayden

Natalie died in her home, with her family at her side, on Labor Day, September 7, 2015 in Arvada, CO. She was 80 years old. Natalie was born on New Year's Day, 1935 in Pittsburg, PA to her parents, Lucian and Angela Papieski. She graduated from the St. Francis College with a degree in chemistry, before moving to Midland, MI in 1956. In Midland, she worked for Dow Corning. She married John Hayden in 1959. The Haydens moved to Arvada in 1963, where they worked and raised their family. Natalie was an encouraging and supportive mother. She enjoyed the outdoors, volunteering, and attending theater and cultural events with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Natalie is survived by her husband, John; six children, Anita, Joel, Susan, David, Beth, and John; along with numerous grandchildren and grand dogs. She is preceded in death by her sister, Ann Snelsire. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Natalie's life. Rosary will begin at 1:00 p.m., on September 19, with Funeral Mass immediately following, all at St. Joan of Arc Church, 12735 West 58th Avenue, Arvada, Colorado. A reception will be held following the service.
