Nathan Walter Wangerin

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nathan Walter Wangerin of Broomfield, CO. He died at age 41 on June 19, 2023. Nate was born February 8, 1982 to Mike and Kathie Wangerin who had three sons, Luke, Nate and Chris.

Nate attended Northglenn High School, where he met the love of his life, Julie. Nate attended the University of Denver and entered a career in finance. He and Julie married in 2004 and had three children together Mason (17), Reed (16) and Kendall (12). Nate didn’t miss a Chelsea FC match and enjoyed a variety of outdoor activities, traveling, watching his kids play sports, and spending time with his family.

Nate is preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother, brothers, wife, children, nephews, niece, a large extended family, and many friends.

Funeral services will take place at Nativity of Our Lord in Broomfield on Friday, June 30th at 11:00 a.m. Following the service, please join Nate’s family for a reception at The Elks Lodge in Northglenn from 12:00-3:00 p.m.
