Nathaniel Joseph Contreras was born in Denver, Colorado on March 14, 2006, and passed away September 22, 2015 at home in Arvada. Nathaniel is survived by his father and mother, D.J. and Rita Contreras and brothers Lucas and Matthew. He is also survived by his grandparents David (Patti) Contreras and Lynda Lechuga, and his aunts and uncles Shirley Aragon, Irene Aragon, Ronald Aragon, Donald Aragon, Joey Contreras and Jeremy Contreras. Nathaniel was preceded in death by his grandparents Ernesto and Bernice Aragon, and his aunt Lisa Aragon. The Rosary will be held Friday, October 2nd, 6:30PM and the Funeral Mass Saturday, October 3rd, 9:30 AM, both at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 29th & Federal. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. Nathaniel's favorite color is red. Everyone is invited to wear something red to the FUNERAL (not the Rosary), or if you have a ""Team Nathaniel"" T-shirt, please wear that, especially to the Celebration Reception at Immaculate Heart of Mary. Also, if anyone would like to celebrate Nathaniel's love of LEGO's, we are inviting you to bring a small LEGO (i.e. mini-figure) to be placed in his casket. Following the burial at Highland Cemetery, please join the family for a Reception to celebrate Nathaniel's life at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Parish Center, 11385 Grant Drive in Northglenn.
