Neil Richard Sweeney, Jr.

Neil Richard Sweeney, Jr., 78, died December 9, 2006, in Denver, Colorado. He was born October 14, 1928, in Denver, Colorado, to Neil Richard and Margaret W. Turner Sweeney. Neil is survived by two sisters and two brothers, Helen C. Falk, of Tempe, Arizona; Loretta E. McCoy, Denver; Edward V. Sweeney (and his wife, Kathy), Denver; and Joseph L. Sweeney (and his wife, Fran), also of Denver. Neil is also survived by 40 nieces and nephews and numerous other relatives. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret M. Burke and Patricia A. Salmonson. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2006, 10:00am, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 301 S. Sherman Street, in Denver. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the church immediatly following the service. Burial will follow the gathering at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
