Nellie Cynthia Boyles AKA "GG" was a born caretaker. She received a letter of recognition and thanks from the Governor of St. Thomas in 1975 for her exemplary performance, dedication and untiring devoted service to humanitarian causes in the community. She later moved to New Jersey for a better life, where she worked as an in-home caretaker for many years with the same client, whose family, became her family.
She moved to Colorado and continued her success by working at Holly Heights and Manor Care until she retired with numerous awards for her dedication, and dependability, Nellie is known for being a hard worker, her kindness, compassion, and always having a warm smile and an encouraging word.
She would say "Mi child you could lead a horse to water but you cannot make them drink" and laugh.
She was strong in her faith and loved her family, and was very proud of her grandkids. She also loved Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, nightly news and Olympic Ice skating.
She made sure to always have "Pocket change" in her words, take it, one day I will not be able to give it. She will be missed dearly.
