Nellie M. Chura

Nellie M. Chura, of Parker, died November 7, 2012 at the age of 89. Mrs. Chura moved to Parker in 1985 with her husband Mike, who preceded her in death in 2009. Nellie was born in Denver to Katherine and Lawrence Docktish and was raised on a farm in unincorporated Douglas County. She was a retired lab technician and former Marine Reservist during WWII. Nellie and her husband had been active at the Parker Senior Center and enjoyed the mountains. She is survived by many nieces, nephews and 2 step-daughters.
