Nellie M. Mijares, age 94, of Denver, passed away September 10, 2011. Mother of the late Margo G. Mijares; Daughter of the late Felipe Valencia, the late Ascencion (Salinas) Valencia. Sister of, The Reverend Jose R. Valencia, the late Esther Garcia, the late Vera Avalos; Step-Mother of, Philbert Mijares, Michelle Feller, the late Anthony Mijares, the late Consuelo Marquez, the late Juanita Dawson. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her devoted friend, Carol Anne Mayne. Graveside Service Thursday, September 16, 2011, 11:00AM at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 12801 West 44th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
