Nguyen Uyen

Uyen Dinh Nguyen, 74, passed away on May 5, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Uyen was born April 21,1947 in Bao Loc, Lam Dong, Vietnam.

Uyen was a Vietnam war veteran who served in the Vietnam Army from 1967 to 1975. In 1995, he and his family emigrated to the United States and lived in Wichita, Kansas. He worked his entire career at Custom Cupboards as a carpenter until retiring in 2012.

Uyen loved playing music on his keyboard and harmonica, and can always be found listening to nostalgic music or reciting poems. He enjoyed biking, exploring geographical maps, and recording memories on his video camera. Uyen had a passion for life and all it had to offer.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Bao, Tuan (Phuong), Kha (Lynn) and his one grandchild, Bao-Tran Grace Nguyen.

A memorial service will take place at Horan & McConaty 3020 Federal Blvd, Denver, CO 80211 on Friday May 14, 2021. Viewing hours will begin at 9:00 am followed directly by the memorial service at 10:00 am.
