Nicholas Allen ""Nick"" Blanchard

Nicholas Allen Blanchard was born in Spencer, Iowa, and passed away peacefully on May 26, 2014, at The Denver Hospice @ Lowry. He graduated for Greeley West High School in 1990 and worked in the Greeley area until 2007 when he moved to Aurora. Nick had a great passion for sports but especially for the Denver Broncos. Nick was a devoted fan and lived for the love of the team. Nick also had a love for horses, music and collecting football cards. Nick was the beloved son of Laura Grant of Aurora, CO, and Duane Penney of Thornton CO. He is also survived by his sister, Robin Donnelly, Odenton, MD; brother Brian Penney, Windsor, CO; Son Drew Blanchard, Zeeland, MI; grandmother, Mary Ann Wilson, Cortez, CO; Marvel Blanchard, Spencer, IA and grandfather, Gene Blanchard, Spencer, IA; Aunts, uncles, and cousins and many close friends. Nick was the joy of our lives and will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him dearly. A Memorial Service will be held in his honor on Friday, May 30, 2014 at 3 PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel located at 11150 East Dartmouth Avenue, Aurora, Colorado 80014.
