Nicholas Peter Hammerschmidt

Nicholas Peter Hammerschmidt passed away on April 3, 2017. Nicholas was born on March 3, 1981 in Northglenn, Colorado, to David & Suzanne Hammerschmidt. Nicholas graduated from Metro State College with a BA in Human Performance and Sports and was a physical education teacher with Adams 12 5 star schools. Nick was a caring and loving son, husband, and father. He had the most beautiful smile that lit up his family's lives and he loved his son, Caden, more than anyone will ever know. Nick is survived by his loving family, Parents David & Suzanne Hammerschmidt; Son, Caden Kaimana Hammerschmidt; and Wife, Heather Hammerschmidt. A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 25, from 5:00pm to 6:00pm followed by a Rosary at 6:00pm at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street, Thornton, Colorado. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 26, at 3:30pm at St. Mark's Catholic Church, 3141 West 96th Ave. Westminster, Colorado. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Nick's honor to his son, Caden Hammerschmidt, 6264 West 62nd Ave, Arvada, CO 80003.
