Nicholas Michael Young

Nicholas Michael Young, 28, passed away April 19, 2010, at his home in Aurora, Colorado. He was born February 12, 1982, in Denver, Colorado to Michael S. and Susan M. Couch Young. Nick attended schools in Aurora and graduated from Lutheran High School in 2000. He participated in football, wrestling and ice hockey throughout his school years. Nick worked as a dental technician in the implant department. Nick fought a courageous battle with melanoma for 7 years. His amazing strength and attitude inspired those he knew and many he did not. His dedication to his faith in Jesus will resonate in the hearts of those still here. Nick was a sweet, funny, creative, courageous, positive, inspiring, warrior for God. One of Nick's passions was spending time with his friends creating lyrics and music, his message astounds those of all ages. Even in the toughest of moments if you asked Nick ""How are you doing?"" he would always reply, ""I'm Good."" His mother Susan, father Michael, sister Michelle, grandparents Rosemary Young, Harold and Elizabeth Couch, with many other family members and friends will miss him dearly. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2010, at 1:00pm, Greenwood Community Church, 5600 E. Belleview Ave., Greenwood Village, CO 80111. Memorial donations may be made in Nick's name to the Melanoma Foundation.
