Nicole Ingrid Atzbach

Nicole Ingrid Atzbach, beloved daughter of Fritz and Cherianne Atzbach and mother of Eva and James David Atzbach, passed away on Saturday November 4, 2017 at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas after a courageous battle with cancer. Nicole grew up in Arvada and was a graduate of Arvada West High School. She attended college at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, graduating with a Bachelors degree in German and Art History. Nicole earned a Masters degree in Fine and Decorative Art from Sothebys Institute of Fine Arts in London, England. For the past 14 years Nicole has lived in Fort Worth, Texas where she worked for 7 years at the Kimbell Museum as Curatorial Assistant to the Director. At the time of her passing she was the Curator of the Meadows Museum at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Nicole was a devoted mother to her twins, Eva and James, who have been the joy and love of her life. She will be greatly missed by them, her parents, brother Erik, his wife Buji and their daughter Claire, brother Geoffrey, his wife Andrea and their children Avery, Samantha, and Miles. A Visitation will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017 beginning at 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 West 80th Avenue, Arvada, Colorado. A Funeral Service honoring Nicole's life will be held on Saturday November 11, 2017 at 10:00 AM The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 6490 Quail Street, Arvada, Colorado.
