Nikole Renae Haiar

Nikole Haiar, 42, of Denver, CO, passed away Christmas day at her parents home in Highlands Ranch, CO, following a hard fought and courageous battle with Mesothelioma cancer. There will be a visitation on Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 6-7 p.m., followed by a Recitation of the Rosary at 7 p.m. at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel at 5303 E. County Line Rd., Centennial, CO 80122. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mark Catholic Church, 9905 Foothills Canyon Blvd, Highlands Ranch, CO 80129.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date in Sioux Falls, SD.

Nikole Renae Haiar was born September 25, 1976 in Sioux Falls, SD to James and Lola (Peterson) Haiar. She graduated from Washington High School in 1995, and the family immediately moved to Colorado. Nikole graduated from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO in 2000 with a B.S., Business Administration - Marketing. She lived in Toronto, Canada for one year, and in 2003 Nikole moved back to Denver and married Greg Wells. During her life in Denver she had a successful career employed with the Apartment Association of Metro Denver, Epsilon Abacus, StillSecure, HOSTING, Hostway Services and lastly as a Sr. Director, Product Marketing at FullContact. Nikole loved to travel and go to concerts, and she loved her friends and family. She had a contagious energy and truly was the life of the party. Nikole was a beautiful, intelligent and loving soul that was taken from us way too soon. We will forever cherish the good memories and hold her close to our hearts. Nikole is survived by her loving parents and brother Brad (sister-in-law Lorrie Geist), nieces Sophia and Elliott, and nephew Gavin. Also survived by many special Aunts, Uncles, cousins and a world of friends. She is preceded in death by both sets of Grandparents.
