Noomis Jones IV

Noomis Jones IV passed away on April 9, 2017 in Arvada, Colorado. Noomis was born on May 1, 1987 to Noomis III and Nicole Jones in Denver, Colorado. He was a graduate of Pomona High School and received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Adams State College. Noomis was an achieved wrestler. He was a Colorado High School State Champion and a college All American. Noomis was a caring and loving son, brother, stepson, uncle and friend. Most importantly, a devoted and loving father. He was the most respectful, charming and funny young man who could brighten any space he entered. Noomis loved his son, Tyson Noomis Jones more than anyone will ever know. Many of Noomis' weekend were spent playing the game he loved. As a child, Noomis and his brother, Nicholas would attend their parent's softball games. His love for the game grew into his adulthood where he played competitively. The softball world, as Noomis referred to it, became his extended family. Noomis is survived by his loving family; parents, Nicole Jones, Noomis III (Tara) Jones; step father, Gilbert Rodriguez; son, Tyson Noomis Jones; Brother, Nicholas (Cori) Jones; Nephews, Zaiah and Jax Jones. Noomis is also survived by his loving grandparents, Margaret Drucker Sisneros; Ann and Fred Olivas; Noomis Jones Jr. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jerry Sisneros. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial visitation will be held Monday, April 17th, from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 West 80th Avenue, Arvada, Colorado. A continued visitation will be held Tuesday, April 18th from 9 AM to 10 AM, followed by a Celebration of Life, at 10 AM at Mile Hi Church, 9077 West Alameda Avenue, Lakewood, Colorado.
