Noreen Regina Bratnober, 71, of Thornton, CO entered her eternal rest on June 4, 2020 due to natural causes.
She was born on October 28, 1948 and was the oldest of 6. Noreen is survived by her sisters Sharon Erickson (Craig), Kathleen Morris (Richard), Colleen Skjerven (Joel) and her brother Jim Bratnober (Linda).
Noreen loved her nieces Bonnie and Kate and nephews Sean, Brian and Matthew and she will be missed by them. She was preceded in death by her sister Christine, her mother Iva Renner and her father, Elwood Bratnober.
She graduated from Danbury High School in Connecticut and accompanied the family west to Southern California and on to Colorado, settling in Thornton in 1989. A very successful independent bookkeeper by trade, Noreen owned her own bookkeeping business for almost 30 years.
Noreen was an historian by passion and could always be relied on to recall the most interesting tidbits of our family's past. Her vivid descriptions have kept these moments alive in all our memories.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021, 11:00am at the Saint Anthony Mausoleum, Mount Olivet Cemetery, Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests cash or blood donations to Vitalant (formally Bonfils blood center). Noreen was a regular blood donor at Bonfils and had earned multiple gallon pins.
