Norma Faye Bowman

Norma Faye Bowman, Brighton, Colorado, born in Dickenson County, Virginia was freed from all her earthly pain and peacefully entered the loving arms of her Savior Jesus on May 12, 2010, following a valiant six year battle with cancer. Norma will be forever remembered by her family and friends for her kindness, generosity, creativity and her love for the Lord. While she is no longer with us, it is impossible for anyone she touched not to be blessed with a little piece of Norma. She is survived by her wonderful and loving husband of fifty years, Rev. Vernon C. Bowman; children Vernon Jaar. (Laura), Diana Smith (David), Sabrina Pacholl (Lee) and Allen (Barbara); sisters Fancy Faxon, Olivene Bowery, Nell Kilgore and Mary Sutton, brothers Elmer and Carson Rose; Grandmother of; Brian A. Smith, Joshua T. Smith, Normita M. Bowman, Ashley M. Smith, Anthony V. Bowman, Timothy Bowman, Johnathan Pacholl, Jeremy Pacholl and Alexandra Bowman; Great~Grandmother of; Tyler Smith, Kayden Smith, Mya Smith, Thomas Smith, Anthony Smith and Nevaeha Smith and numerous nieces and nephews and scores of very close and wonderful friends. The celebration of Norma's life will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, May 18th., Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street, with a reception to follow. Though Norma loved the beauty of flowers, in lieu of them, she requests memorial contributions to be made to the University of Colorado Hospital Foundation, UCH Breast Center AOP, Mail Stop F724, 1635 Aurora Ct., Aurora, CO 80045.
