Norma Richards

Norma Kay (Mayberry) Richards, 85, of Golden passed away on February 15, 2021. Born on December 9, 1935 in Golden, Colorado she was the daughter of Murl D. and Vivian Mae (Smith) Mayberry. Norma married Albert Daniel Richards III on February 24, 1955 and together they shared 53 years of marriage until his passing in 2008.

Norma graduated from Golden Senior High School.

She worked as a secretary for the Colorado School of Mines Research Institute.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Golden and the Golden Fire Department Wives.

Norma loved spending time with her family, taking photos, making photo albums for friends and family, sending cards, and keeping track of family history.

Norma is survived by her children, Deborah L. (Robert) Willingham and Albert D. (Sylvia) Richards IV, her grandchildren, Melissa Osborne (Jesse), Lacey Aguilar, Zach Willingham, and Alaina Richards, her great-grandchildren, Sergio Aguilar, Alonso Aguilar, Riddik Osborne, Renaya Osborne, Lily Willingham and Haily Willingham, and her brother and sisters, Darline Beaufils, Joan (Jack) Sperry, Larry (Sherry) Mayberry, and Karen (Tony) Beddia.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Ladine Holmes.

A Graveside Service will be held on June 11, 2021 at 11:00am at Golden Cemetery, 755 Ulysses St. Golden, CO 80401.
