Norma E. Sarno

Norma E. Sarno, 78, of Arvada was born December 24, 1931 in Cotesfield, Nebraska and passed away October 16, 2010. Norma was married to Pasquale B. Sarno May 19, 1950. He preceded her in death on September 17, 1992. She and her husband were residents of the Westminster and Arvada area for nearly 50 years. Norma was an active member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She was a member of the VFW Auxillary Post #501 in Denver and a past member of the Westminster Fire Departments Womens Auxillary. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, gambling and her family. She is survived by her three sons, Kenneth (Jane) Sarno, Steven Sarno and Daniel Sarno; Her brother Dale Karre and sister Delores Love. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Sara, Annie, Kristina, Amy, Eric and Adam and her great granddaughter Charlee. Recitation of the Rosary will be Sunday, 5:00PM, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3020 Federal Boulevard, Denver, Colorado. The Funeral Mass will be held Monday 10:00AM, Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 7595 Federal Boulevard, Westminster, Colorado. Interment will follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver, Colorado.
