Norman Allison

Norman Russell ""Rusty"" Allison, Jr. died Friday, January 1, 2016 at Sky Ridge Medical Center in Lone Tree, Colorado. He was 60. Born August 12, 1955 in Gunnison, Colorado to Norman and Marilyn, he was a dedicated employee of the phone company for over 34 years. He enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, going to baseball games, and scuba diving. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his father Norman (Rapid City), mother Marilyn (Littleton), brothers Kirk (Rapid City), and Greg (Littleton), daughter Heather (Littleton), son Russ (Littleton), his surrogate children Shauna, Kristen, Heather, Jeremy, and Justin (Littleton); grandson Alex, and granddaughter Makenna (Littleton), and his surrogate grandchildren Shyla, Carson, and Tyus (Highlands Ranch). He was preceded in death by his brother, John. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, January 9 from 2-4 p.m. and at 3:00pm prior to the funeral service on Sunday. The funeral will take place on Sunday, January 10 at 4 p.m. at Horan & McConaty, 5303 E. County Line Road, Centennial, Colorado 80122. A reception will immediately follow.
