Norman A. ""Lefty"" Dreiling, 82, passed away peacefully with his family by his side. His wishes were to die at home. He Fought a courageous battle trying to beat Cancer. Norman was born to Frank J.A. and Basilia Dreiling in Victoria, KS. on August 7, 1933. Norm is survived by his wife Norma Jean of 63 years and their children Son, Richard Dreiling, Daughter, Debbi (Paul) Roberts, Darla (Walt) Eichler, Deidra (Stan) Whittaker. He had eight grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 4 step grandchildren. Norm was the youngest of 11 children. He is survived by his sisters Edna Wagner, Lorraine McCormick, Brothers Verlin Dreiling, and Marvin Dreiling. Norm retired from 7up bottling Co after 37 1/2 yesars.He worked for Denver Public Schools for 16 years. When Norm was not working, he loved fishing at the Crystal Lake Cabin. He enjoyed gambling at Central City, and bowling. Norm was member of the Westminster Elks. Visitation and Rosary will be held at Horan & McConaty 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd.Lakewood CO at 6:00 P.M. on Novemebr 5, 2015. Funeral Mass will be held at Notre Dame Catholic Church at 10:00 A.M. on November 6, 2015. A luncheon will be held at Notre Dame Catholic Church following the Mass. Following the luncheon a graveside service will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
