Norman L. Hoff

Born Feb 16, 1924, Norman L. Hoff died peacefully of natural causes on March 10, 2020. Originally from Greenville, TX and resident of Northglenn, CO since July 1963, he was predeceased in June 2013 by his wife of 70 years, Juanita, and is survived by his sons Norman, Jr. of Herndon, VA and Arthur J. (Sharry) of Thornton, CO, grandchildren, Kevan (Dawn) of San Diego, CA, Andrew (Stephanie) of Los Angeles, CA, Kendra MacNicol (Jeremy), great-granddaughter, Ani MacNicol, of Northglenn, CO, and sister, Martha Dickens of Cumby, TX.

After enlisting in the Navy in Feb 1942, he was soon commissioned a Naval Officer and Aviator. Following duty in WW II and Korea, he remained active in the Naval Reserve and retired in Feb 1984 at the rank of Captain. The same month, he retired from the Civil Service following 33 years of Federal Civil Service at Sheppard AFB, Wichita Falls, TX and Lowry AFB, Denver, CO.

A Freemason from 1947 until his death, he held membership in many Masonic bodies, and was Grand Master of Masons in CO in 1987 and Grand Commander of the Grand Commandery of Knights Templar of CO in 1998.

Interment at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd. Denver, CO at 2:00pm with military honors. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children online: Donate Here
