Oliver (Kent) Banks, passed away on June 15, 2023 after a long illness; he was born on January 9, 1941 in Texarkana, Texas. His family moved to Denver when he was a youngster. Kent graduated High School and joined the Navy. He worked for Serta Mattress Company from 1969 until his retirement in 1997. Kent was a true Sports Connoisseur and he loved the Denver Nuggets; he also loved playing Jeopardy and getting more right answers than anyone in the room.
In 1984 Kent married Betty (his devoted wife). He also leaves behind Oliver Kent Banks Jr, Brian, Victor, Yvette, Thette, Lynette and Carole (Jeffery McKizzie) and their offspring; nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends. Kent was preceded in death by his parents (James & Mamie Banks) & his three siblings Don Albert, Carl Lee & Barbara Kay.
It is well, he is WELL.
