Opal Marie Clark

Opal Marie Clark, 85, of Denver, Colorado passed away on December 31st, 2015. She was born to Ernest Leroy Hardesty and Mildred (Titler) Hardesty of Johnstown, Colorado. Opal loved children and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed working in daycare, preschools, and caring for children in her home. She also enjoyed going on car rides in the mountains with Leonard and spending time with their 3 Scottish Terriers: Ollie, Molly, and Wally. Opal was preceded in death by her beloved husband (Leonard Clark Jr.) of 60 years. Parents; Ernest and Mildred Hardesty, two brothers and one sister. She is survived by one daughter and two sons, Linda (Chuck) Cargin of Colorado Springs, Michael Clark of Denver and Kevin (Gina) Clark of Denver; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. January 12th, 2016. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her honor to Children's Hospital or St Jude's Hospital in Denver, Colorado.
