Oreta May Woodcox

Oreta May Woodcox, age 88, passed away in Aurora Colorado on May 24th, 2017. Born Oreta May Christensen on May 4th, 1929 in Marysville Idaho, daughter of Evan Elias Christensen and Sarah Jane Larson. She grew up in Robin, Idaho. She was a longtime resident of Glenwood Springs, Colorado before moving to Grand Junction and then eventually Aurora, Colorado. She worked as a cosmetologist for many years until retiring in 1990 but continued to see special clients until 2011. Oreta was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints. Oreta is survived by three daughters, Diana Marie Rogers and her husband James of San Antonio, Texas, Vanita Jane Lewis of Aurora, Colorado and Melissa Sue Cook of Grand Junction, Colorado. Grandchildren include Jennifer (Rogers) Tobler, Curtis Lewis, James Rogers, Jaime (Rogers) Springer, Jeffrey Lewis, Michael Lewis, Sabré Cook, and Tristan Cook. Great-grand children include Jaedyn, James, Jace and Jentrii Rogers, Axel and Schrade Springer and Alexander Lewis and Sophia and Holden Lewis. Oreta loved being surrounded by her family.
