Oscar Alvarez Jimenez

Oscar Alvarez Jimenez born May, 31st 1960 in Ciudad Juarez Chihuahua, passed away December, 31st 2020.  Oscar's final moments were spent alongside his wife and children.

Oscar's father Gregorio Alvarez Rocha and mother Hermelinda Alvarez Jimenez raised ten children.  Oscar grew up in la Colonia Insurgentes where he met his wife Rosario and they married August 11, 1979.  In 1985 Oscar and Rosario moved their two young children to Denver, Colorado after vacationing and falling in love with Colorado. Oscar and Rosario had three additional children completing their family.

Oscar began working for Chelsea Food Service washing dishes. In his 35 years at Chelsea (now United Airlines), Oscar's dedication and hard work helped him ascend to a Mechanic within the company.  During his longevity with United he built great friendships throughout the years.

Oscar was a huge advocate and believed strongly in education.  In doing so he worked hard himself and received his GED certificate in September of 2004. He always supported his children and strived to achieve the best for his family.

Oscar's love for learning and experiencing new places granted him the ability to explore, and took him and those close to him on trips around the world. He might not have been able to visit all the places on his list but he did enjoy every minute of the places he was able to visit.

Oscar leaves behind his beautiful wife of 41 years Rosario; 5 children, Ricardo, Cynthia, Oscar, Eric and Samuel; 10 grandchildren, Jazmin, Miguel Angel, Samuel, Oscar, Damian, Ezra, Sebastian, Saul, Elijah and Hugo; 8 siblings, Ofelia, Benjamin, Irma, Arturo, Maria, Gregorio, Guadalupe, and Javier; well over two dozen nieces and nephews, and wonderful work colleagues whom he loved dearly.

Oscar Alvarez Jimenez nació el 31 de mayo del año 1960 en la Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, falleció el 31 de diciembre del 2020.  Oscar fue acompañado por su esposa e hijos en sus últimos momentos.

El padre de Oscar, el señor Gregorio Alvarez Rocha y su madre Hermelinda Alvarez Jimenez crearon diez hijos.  Oscar creció en la colonia Insurgentes donde conoció a su esposa Rosario y se casaron en agosto 11 de 1979.  En 1985 Oscar Rosario junto con sus dos hijos se mudaron a Denver, Colorado luego de haber pasado unas vacaciones y quedar encantados con Colorado.  Oscar y Rosario completaron su familia teniendo tres hijos más.

El primer empleo de Oscar dentro de Chelsea fue de lava trastes, en sus 35 años con su dedicación y gran esfuerzo logró ascender a mecánico dentro de la compañía ahora United Airlines. A lo largo de los años formó grandes amistades dentro de United.

Oscar apoyaba y creía firmemente en la educación .  Por esta misma razón él se esforzó y trabajó para recibirse con su certificado de GED en septiembre del 2004.  Siempre apoyó y luchó para que su familia tuviera lo mejor.

El amor por aprender y vivir nuevas experiencias para conocer lo inspiró explorar y lo llevó junto con sus seres queridos a viajar alrededor del mundo.  Quizás no visito todos los lugares en su lista pero disfruto cada momento de los lugares que sí pudo visitar.

Oscar deja atrás a su bella esposa Rosario con quien compartió 41 años de matrimonio; 5 hijos, Ricardo, Cynthia, Oscar, Eric y Samuel; 10 nietos, Jazmin, Miguel Angel, Samuel, Oscar, Damian, Ezra, Sebastian, Saul, Elijah y Hugo. 8 Hermanos, Ofelia, Benjamin, Irma, Arturo, Maria, Gregorio, Guadalupe, y Javier; más de una docena de sobrinas y sobrinos; además de sus colegas de trabajo a quien igual apreciaba y quería mucho.
