Pamela Woods Edrich passed away on January 2, 2011 at age 51. She is survived by husband Rick and daughters Becky and Rachel. Pam was born on December 8, 1959 in Pueblo, CO as Pamela Lynn Woods to parents Kenneth and Virginia Woods who now live in Crane, MO. Pam's siblings are Bruce Woods of Livermore, CA and Diana Woods of Lakewood, CO. As a child Pam enjoyed piano, camping, girl scouts, church youth group, and school. She graduated from Pueblo East High School in 1978. Pam attended the Colorado School of Mines on an academic scholarship, graduating with a degree in Chemical Engineering in 1982. Pam and Rick met at CSM and were married on May 26, 1985 in Lakewood, CO. Pam's professional career was spent mainly in the environmental area working on such projects as the clean up and closure of the Rocky Flats plant near Golden, CO and on water treatment projects throughout the US. She was very involved in the community and served in many volunteer positions over the years including: Girl Scout troop leader, Sunday school teacher, officer of various school parent groups, team mom, and anything else requested of her. In her spare time, Pam enjoyed gardening, camping, hiking, and reading. She was a devoted mother to Becky and Rachel and took great pride in watching them mature into the strong and confident young women they now are. Memorial Service Thursday, 2:30pm, Phillips United Methodist Church, 1450 S. Pierce St. Donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the Cure organization (KomenDenver.org).
