Pam K Bowen was born on a very cold snowy morning January 22, 1954 at Porter Hospital. She had a very normal childhood, was active and loved to be with her sisters when small. She always strived to do her best in school and any project she overtook. The family did a lot of camping and water skiing over the years. As high school approached, Pam was very busy with Pom/cheer team and other activities. She married young and had her son Rob, whom she adored. She later divorced, but continued to work various jobs, landing her first big job with American Express. During that time she met her husband Ike and his daughter and they married and started a wonderful marriage of 38 years. They continued to take family trips to local places such as Royal Gorge and Mesa Verde and did a lot of camping and fishing. Pam also worked at Keebler for 16 years and then moved to RTD as the Admin Assistant for training division. Like everything she touched in her life, it was done well and in an organized way. When not working, since was busy with Rob's various sports, being the team mom, score keeper and support. She was involved with Nicki, continued to teach her to sew and love crafts and bake the best cookies just like she did. She adored her grandchildren and was expecting her first great-grandchild to arrive this month. Pam has had many health complications over the last 15 years, but always kept her chin up and took in stride best she could. Unfortunately her body couldn't fight anymore and she was taken from us July 6, 2016. Her beautiful smile will be missed by all. Pamela K.
