Pamela ""Pam"" Norris

Pamela ""Pam"" Norris died in her home on January 26, 2015 in Cherry Hills, CO due to complications with cancer. She was 61. Pam was born on May 2, 1953 in St. Charles, IL to her parents, Lester and Dorothy Norris. She graduated from the University of Denver with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Biology in 1975. She dedicated her life to raising her children. She served on the Board of Trustees at St. Anne's Episcopal School from 1994 until 2005; she served on Board of Trustees at Kent Denver as well. A committed philanthropist, she worked closely with Women's Foundation of Colorado, Roundup River Ranch, University of Denver Lacrosse program and many others. Pam had a big heart that warmed everyone she knew. She volunteered much of her time and made it a point to help those in need, especially children. She enjoyed long walks and bird watching at Kent Denver. Though she loved all Colorado wildlife, she always looked forward to seeing the Lesser Goldfinch. Pam is survived by her son Peter Jones of Cherry Hills, CO; her daughter Katie Jones of Brooklyn, NY; her son Robert Morton of Lake Zurich, IL; and her daughter and son-in-law Amy and Chad Brake of Fischers, IN. Pam was buried in Union Cemetery in St. Charles, IL on January 31, 2015. Memorial Service information in Denver will be at a later date.
