Pamela Joyce Palea

Pamela Joyce Palea, 66, of Aurora, Colorado, passed away on October 24, 2013 in Aurora, Colorado. Pamela was born in Brooklyn, Michigan to James and Eunice Cosier on February 11, 1947. She graduated from Shaker Heights High School in Shaker Heights, Ohio. She attended Cleveland State and Community College of Cleveland, Ohio. Pamela married Dumitru Palea on September 24, 1974 in Rocky River, Ohio. She retired from United Airlines after 27 years of service. Pamela and her husband owned Dumitri's Family Restaurant in Aurora, Colorado. Pamela loved traveling and seeing the world. She enjoyed watching many sports, including her favorite teams, the Cleveland Browns and Detroit Red Wings. She read mystery novels, listened to music, collected art by Native American Artist Frank Howell, as well as collecting moose and lighthouses of all kinds. Pamela is preceded in death by her parents James and Eunice, her brother James, her sisters Suzanne and Julie, and her nephew Andrew. Pamela is survived by her husband Dumitru, her daughter Juliana and son-in-law Drew, her sister Jill, her nephews Jeff, Steve, Sean, Mike, Nick, and neice Meghan. Pamela's Memorial Service will take place on Tuesday, November 5th at 2:00 pm at Horan & McConaty, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave. Aurora, Colorado 80014. There will be a reception following the service at Noonan's at Heather Ridge Golf Club, 13521 E. Iliff Ave. Aurora, Colorado 80014 (303) 755-3660. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is set up in Pamela's name at 1st Bank, account number 379-126-8753. These donations will go to Pamela's favorite charities.
