Pamela Van Milligan

Pamela Ruth Scooros Van Milligan, 69, fell asleep with the Lord at her home in Lakewood, Colorado on December 15, 2021 from cancer.

Pam was born in Detroit and graduated from University of Michigan.  She moved to Denver and worked as a proof-reader, draftsperson and massage therapist.  She studied at the University of Colorado at Denver, where she earned her Master of Social Work degree. After receiving her degree, Pam worked as a part-time counselor.

Music was a big part of her life.  Pam sang in the Colorado Symphony Chorus where she met her husband, John Van Milligan.  She also sang in her church choir.

Pam survived breast cancer in 2012, but was diagnosed with cancer again this fall on her 25th wedding anniversary with John.

Pam is survived by her husband John, sister Melissa Havlin and brother Tony Scooros.
