Parker Bailey Witt

July 7, 1991 — July 3, 2008

Wonderful, loving son of Jeff and Maureen Witt, twin brother of Brendan and big brother of Emily and Madeline. Parker is also survived by two grandmothers, Eleanor B. Witt and Margaret A. Reidy, 16 aunts and uncles, 22 cousins and countless friends. Parker was an outstanding student and an excellent athlete. He just completed his Junior year at Regis Jesuit High School where he received Highest Honors every semester. He played lacrosse and volleyball for Regis and on the elite Front Range Volleyball club team. He founded STAND, a student anti-genocide coalition at Regis to get students involved in ending the conflict in Darfur. He had a delightful sense of humor and was a devoted son, brother and friend. We will all miss him so. A vigil will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at Regis Jesuit High School, Boys Division - Tradition Hall, 6400 South Lewiston Way, in Aurora, Colorado. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 8035 South Quebec Street, in Centennial, Colorado. Donations may be made to The Parker Bailey Witt Scholarship Fund at Regis Jesuit High School, 6300 South Lewiston Way, Aurora, Colorado 80016.
