Paruhum (Tom) Sitompoel, passed away on December 9th 2023 due to a heart attack at age 66. Tom left behind a beautiful wife, Elizabeth Tambunan, two Daughters, Idoo Genovez with her son Shane Genovez and son in law Nelson Genovez and Yosevine Agustoria with her daughter Emmelia Heintz and son in law Matthew Heintz.
Tom had a passion for Harley Davidson Motorcycles, Photography, Traveling, Dining, Friendship, and most of all... Tom was passionate about his family. Tom loved assisting his community in the best way possible known to him.
Tom came to America in 1997 in search of the American dream and became an American citizen. Tom worked hard all these years building a great reputation within his community as a husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Tom always had a sense of humor everyone loved.
A few years back Tom had a diagnosis of a heart murmur that soon would develop into a triple bypass and in need of a heart transplant. Tom never lived in gain for any sort of approval from anyone there for avoided commenting on his heart condition to anyone and in return motivated him to live his last days as if it was his last days of his life, happy, joyful, loving, understanding, giving, slow to anger, compassionate. Tom was loved and he loved back more than he was loved. Tom forgave more than he was forgiven. Tom gave no judgement to those who astute him. Tom's presence was a gift of love, kindness, sense of humor and uplifted those who were down. His journey on earth was shortened too soon but his journey will continue through us left behind. Toms' legacy and honor will live through us by applying the same principles of life the way he understood best.
Rest in peace Tom, YOU will always be remembered for your ability to brighten peoples' days around you with love, joy and laughter. Your spirit lives on in the hearts of your family and friends.
