Pat Flynn

Pat Flynn, 85, of Denver, passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at his home. Born on May 4, 1933 in Graceville, Minnesota he was the son of Thomas A. and Matilda (Tilly) Flynn. Pat and his wonderful bride, Lyndal Flynn, married May 19th, 1962 celebrating 56 years of love and teamwork.

Pat left his imprint on Colorado working as a communication technician specialist repairing and ensuring all the systems and airways for fire, police and statewide emergency systems were always up and running. A dedicated and hard worker, Pat carried a second job as a teacher of night classes at Emily Griffith Technical College to help others learn his trade in radio communications.

As a Veteran, he served in the US Air Force and deployed overseas in the Korean War. Pat had a deep faith and great love for his family, friends and country. His life was a gift to us.

In addition to his wife, Lyndal, his legacy and memories continue in his son, Robert Flynn; daughter, Kathleen Flynn; grandson, Keenan Flynn; his brothers and sisters: Helen Kass, Leo and Judy Flynn, Harold Laursen, Norman and Darlene Creitz and Sue Creitz, many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends of whom he loved dearly. We also must not forget Pat's good friend and helper Charlie, his dog, whom watched over him diligently and was always a heartbeat at his feet.

Pat's Farewell will be held on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 11:30AM at Horan & McConaty, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd. Lakewood, CO followed by interment with Military Honors at 1:15PM at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd. Denver, CO.

Following the service, a celebration of life will be held at Saint Patrick's Brewery, 2842 West Bowles Ave. Littleton, CO 80120.
