Patricia Ann Callan

Patricia Ann Callan, age 85, died at Denver Hospice on Friday, March 2, 2018. Born July 14, 1932, in Denver, Colorado, she was a 2nd generation Denverite and lived her entire live in Denver. Pat attended East High School and received an Art History degree from the University of Colorado in Boulder where she was a member of the Delta Gamma sorority and met her husband Tom “Rocky” Callan. Pat was a proud housewife who loved her family and friends and made them a priority in her life. After her husband’s death in 1997, she was reacquainted with Bill Schmausser, who became her significant other and a part of her family. Survivors include her sister Charline “Chuckie” White, children James P. Callan, Richard T. Callan and Carolyn Callan Peterson, granddaughters Sara L. Peterson and Carly Callan. Pat was preceded in death by her husband Thomas R. Callan and her parents James S. Bardwell and Charline H. Hatfield. Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at the Church of the Risen Christ Catholic Parish, 3060 S. Monaco Pkwy, Denver, CO 80222.
