Patricia Carmen

Patricia Ann Carmen, age 74, passed peacefully in her sleep on December 8, 2021 at her home in Highlands Ranch, CO after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born June 20, 1947 in NYC, NY to Inez and William Gorgay. She graduated from Catholic Medical Center School of Nursing, class of 1981. She celebrated her 40th anniversary as a registered nurse this year, and worked in various compacities within the field, including: ER nurse in Metropolitan Hospital in NYC, Walson Army Hospital at Ft. Dix NJ, the State of NJ Department of Health, Various hospitals in Colorado, and the Veterans Health Administration, Office of Community Care from which she finally retired in 2019.

Pat was happily married to her devoted husband, Kevin Carmen, for 39 years.  She will be greatly missed by her husband, 2 daughters, Kimberly and Kathleen, Kimberly’s husband David and 4 grandchildren, Adrian, Katelyn, Danae and Johnathan.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Barbara Downey.

Final arrangements are as follows: There will be a viewing at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 5303 E. County Line Rd. Centennial, CO 80122. Ph.303-221-0030. on Sunday, December 19th at 1:00 – 3:00 PM.

On Monday, December 20th there will be a Catholic Mass held at St. Francis Cabrini Church, 6673 W Chatfield Ave, Littleton, CO 80128. At 10:30 AM. Followed by a reception at the funeral home at 12:00 – 1:30 PM. Refreshments will be served.
