Patricia Carter

Our Beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother.
Patricia Anne Carter of Lakewood Colorado passed away peacefully on January 5, 2023 at the age of 93.
Patricia was born on December 25,1929 to Edwin M. Pierce and Vera Pearl Pierce in Lincoln Nebraska.
She married the love of her life James M. Carter on March 24,1952 in Denver Colorado. They were blessed with two daughters. Pat was a homemaker, seamstress, and candy maker. She was very active volunteering for Westernaires, serving as a Monitor for Red Team and Precisionettes. Using her talent as a seamstress, she produced many of the performance costumes for the Red Team, Precisionettes, and Blue Rangers. She enjoyed working with the young riders.
She lived her faith in Jesus Christ and enjoyed reading the bible.
Pat is survived by her daughters, Robin D. (Don) Harvey, Karen K. Carter; two grandchildren, Travis Carter (Sarah) Harvey, Morgan Meyer (Shawn) Haas; one great- granddaughter, Emilia Evelyn Haas; gand puppy, Frankie.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years James Morgan Carter; parents Edwin and Vera Pierce; siblings Jack Pierce, Betty Cox and Edwin M. Pierce.
Patricia enjoyed yarn crafts, puzzles, traveling and spending time with family, also loved ocean cruising with her daughter Karen. She will be deeply missed.
Visitation Monday, January 16, 2023, 11:00 am, Funeral Service, 12:00 pm, both at Horan & McConaty, 3101 South Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood Colorado, 80227. Reception to follow service. Private interment Fort Logan National Cemetery.
