Patricia Ann Casey was born January 25th,1968 in Miami, Florida. When she was a little girl her family lived in Montana for a short time before moving to Tucumari, New Mexico. She stayed there and attended Mesa lands community college studying Programming Language and computer systems. She continued to explore new places and spent time in Albuquerque, Las Vegas, Pennsylvania, Pueblo and for the last 15 years made a home in Denver, Colorado.
Patricia’s career really took off when she was living in Nevada, she began working at the Nevada Test Sight for the Department of Energy. From there she began working on building power plants in the numerous places she lived. Her work allowed her to explore new places and see the world around her. Most notably, she was employed by the United States Antarctic Program and was able to visit Antarctica, an experience she was very grateful for. Her knowledge of computers led to her working at Lockheed Martin, which is where she was employed for the remainder of her career.
Colorado was the perfect place for Patricia to explore. She loved spending time in nature, taking weekend hunting trips and visiting National Parks. She was passionate about donating and volunteering with the Colorado Wild Horse Foundation.
Last few months were rough due to an unexpected diagnosis of Cancer. She passed away March 5th, 2024 and is survived by her loving mother, Hazel Casey.
