Patricia Herrera

Patricia Herrera, 68, a wife, a mother, a sister, an aunt, a grandmother, godmother, and friend. Survived by many brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, grandchildren. She was born to Marcello and Lucy (Flores) Cabral on March 17, 1944 in Denver, Colorado. Pat was one of eight Children: Delores, Donald (Louise), Jay (Rudy), Patricia (Bob), Marcella, Barbara, Michael ""Mickey"", and Chuck (Marty). On June 8, 1968, Pat married Frank ""Bob"" Herrera, the love of her life at Saint Cajetan Catholic Church. This year they celebrated their 44th wedding Anniversary. With her caring heart, her compassion and her love for family she helped raise in a motherly way: Michael, Candy, Jessy, and Marcello. In 2000, Pat and Bob decided to become foster parents and later adopted five of the children: Ruby, Lee, Angie, Eric, and Lucy. She will be greatly missed. Rosary will be recited on Thursday, September 13, 2012, 7:00 PM, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street, Thornton, Colorado 80229. Funeral Mass will be Friday, September 14, 2012, 10:30 AM, at Saint Mark Catholic Church, 3141 West 96th Avenue, Westminster, Colorado 80031. A reception at the church will immediately follow. Committal Service will be Friday, September 14, 2012, 3:30PM, Fort Logan National Cemetery, Area ""B"", 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver, Colorado 80235.
