Patricia Jane Horn

Patricia Jane Horn was born October 29, 1969, in Tucson, Arizona to parents, Richard and Patricia May Hayes. She grew up in Tucson with her two sisters, Hannah and Tracy. After the death of her mother in 1983, her father remarried and Patty's family grew. Along with her new mother, Ruth, she now had a brother, Cleve, and three new sisters; Barbara, Vicky and Mel. Patty graduated in 1988 from Marana High School in Marana, Arizona, a small rural community north of Tucson. In high school Patty played on the percussion line in the high school band. She also ran hurdles on the track team. It was while on the track team that she earned the nick-name 'Mousie'. As she jumped the hurdles, Patty would ""squeak"" like a mouse. Quickly this new name became popular among her fellow band members. The nick-name stuck with her throughout her high school years. In November 1988, she married Stacy Horn and gave birth to two beautiful children, Kevin Matthew and Jessica Rae. Her son Kevin was born in 1989. Patty shared a passion for Hockey and music with him. Her daughter Jessica was born in 1995. Patty enjoyed shopping for clothes, fashion and Teddy Bears with her daughter. When she started her career at Direct TV, she assumed a new name, ""Trish"". This was the start of a new chapter in her life. Trish 'found herself' at Direct TV. As a routing coordinator, Trish became known as the 'go-to girl' for her department as well as many others across the nation. Trish was known for her quick sense of humor, her energetic, positive spirit and her beautiful smile. Everyone who met her loved her. Whether you knew her as Jainey (as her father always called her), Patty, P.J. or Trish, she undoubtedly touched your life in so many ways. Her family knew her as the 'quiet' sister. Her friends and family at Direct TV knew her to be fun loving, hardworking and dedicated to excellence. ""It's all good."" Celebration of Life will be Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 3 PM, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street, Thornton, Colorado. There will be a time within the service to share memories.
