Patricia “Pat” Anne Morrison passed away on February 8, 2022 from complications from a stroke she suffered a few days prior at the age of 83 in Highlands Ranch, CO. She was born on May 7, 1938 and raised in Cleveland, OH where she graduated from Cleveland Heights High School and earned an accounting degree from Case Western Reserve. While in college, she met her husband, Frank. After Frank completed his master’s degree, they moved to the Philadelphia area and finally settled down in Lionville, PA where they raised their only daughter, Pamela. While in Lionville, she worked for Uwchlan Township initially as an accountant and later as their Secretary-Treasurer. In the early 1990s, they moved to Hanover, PA due Frank’s job transfer. While in Hanover, she served as Secretary-Treasurer of London Grove Township and Secretary-Treasurer for the Chester County Association of Township Officials. After she retired in 2013, she moved to Highlands Ranch, CO to be closer to her daughter, Pam, son-in-law, Mike, and her granddogs.
While in PA, she enjoyed boating with Frank and Pam on the Chesapeake Bay on the weekends. She also enjoyed tending her flower gardens, baking, volunteering and most of all spending time with family. She had a love for helping people. She always had a strong faith and was active in church in every community she lived in. While in Hanover, PA, she was a member of Grace United Methodist Church where she served as their treasurer and participated on several committees and in many outreach activities in the community. After moving to Highlands Ranch, she became a member of Littleton United Methodist Church where she served on Senior Adult Council, Church & Society, Ad Council, office volunteer, and many outreach programs including Break Bread. She also enjoyed attending Bible Study, Fine Arts Series performances as well as other programs offered by the church. She was most proud of helping former assistant Pastor Jeff Richards in expanding the senior adult program to include more activities as well as short day trips. In addition to her church activities, she was a long-time member of The Village Home Owners Board where she currently served as their Secretary and Historian. She participated in many activities in her neighborhood including Ladies Lunch and Gazebo parties in addition to many others.
Pat is survived by her daughter, Pamela Kulbeik, and son-in-law, Michael Kulbeik. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, and parents, Norman and Gertrude Stolte. She will be remembered by her family and friends for her constant smile and laugh, positive attitude, endless energy and constant willingness to lend a helping hand. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services will take place at Littleton United Methodist Church, 5894 S. Datura St., Littleton, CO on Saturday, February 19 at 11 am MST. Her service will also be live stream on LUMC.tv for her friends that are unable to attend in person. There will be a reception following her service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in her memory to Littleton United Methodist Church and the Break Bread organization.
