Patricia Ann Fallon O'Doherty, age 83, died in Denver, Colorado on Monday, November 9, 2015 due to natural causes. Born July 9, 1932 in Quincy, Massachusetts where she lived until a young adult. Patricia worked at Dun & Bradstreet, New England Bell, and United Airlines after relocating into downtown Boston living atop Beacon Hill. Patricia married Bernard James O'Doherty, Sr. of Woburn, MA on September 10, 1960. Mr. O'Doherty was employed as an Aeronautical Engineer for Northeast Airlines in Boston. The couple resided in Beverly, MA and had three children. The family then relocated to Stone Mountain, Georgia in 1972 when Northeast merged with Delta Airlines. In addition to raising her children Patricia was active in numerous volunteer positions including but not limited to teaching Sunday School and helping in soup kitchens. She held several positions of employment including a position with Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA. After 43 years of marriage Patricia survived Bernard's death in February 2003. She then relocated to Denver, CO to be with her daughters and her son living Idaho. Patricia was a member of Church of the Risen Christ Catholic Church and a registered member of the Democratic Party of Colorado. Survivors include: her children, Bernadette Patricia O'Doherty of Denver, CO; Corinne O'Doherty Spires (Randall) of Denver, CO; Bernard James O'Doherty, Jr. (Beverley) of Pocatello, ID; her 8 grandchildren, Hazel Pa'draici'n O'Doherty, Iain Juliano Spires, Conn Blake O'Doherty, Katherine Rose Fallon Spires, Eo'in Bruce Beilman O'Doherty, Gra'inne Veronica Vaughan O'Doherty, Alexandria Fallon Siyu O'Doherty; her siblings, Bernard Vaughan Fallon, Sr., Maureen Fallon Barron, Sheila Fallon Burke, and Thomas Alexander Fallon. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard James O'Doherty, Sr.; and her brothers George F. Fallon, Jr., John F. Fallon, Sr., Charles Fallon, Sr., and James M. Fallon, Sr. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 2375 E. Arizona Avenue, Denver, Colorado. The family invites you to join them immediately following the service for a reception in the Parish Hall.
