Patricia M. Paul, 92 years of age, passed away peacefully in Denver, Colorado, on March 20, 2017. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 2, 1924, to Anton and Pauline Ptaszek. Pat was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Henry Paul of the Paul Studio of Modern Photography, whom she met in Chicago and married in 1943. She is being met also in heaven by her son, Allan Paul of Champaign, who preceded her in death by five weeks. She is survived by her remaining six children, Richard Paul (Patricia) of Cincinnati, Melanie Allen (Roger) of Minneapolis, Deb Beckmann (Steve) and Ticia Mueller of Denver, Lee Paul of Chicago, and Bob Paul of Safety Harbor, Florida, 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Pat was an amazing wife and mother with a lifelong thirst for knowledge. She spent her life in many capacities: volunteering in hospitals delivering communion to patients, taping for the blind for over 25 years, teaching fellow seniors at St. Xavier's College, all at the same time being the world's greatest mom. She enjoyed singing, biking, golfing, gardening, and reading along with watching sports on tv and her favorite Notre Dame teams. A celebration of her life will be held in Denver later this summer. Another service will be held later at the Resurrection Cemetery in Chicago, Illinois. Donations may be made to the favorite charity of your choice.
